Based in Los Angeles, MINI MANSIONS is a baroque psych-pop manifestation of Michael Shuman (Queens of the Stone Age) Tyler Parkford (Mister Goodnite) and Zach Dawes (The Last Shadow Puppets). MINI MANSIONS premiered their first self-titled LP in 2010 on Mike Patton’s Ipecac Records and Josh Homme’s Rekords Rekords imprint. Their follow-up record, aptly titled “The Great Pretenders”, featured a strange array of special guests including Brian Wilson, Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) and Fred Schneider (The B52’s). After a long stretch of touring with the likes of Tame Impala, Arctic Monkeys, Father John Misty, The New Pornographers and Autolux, MINI MANSIONS are currently finishing up production of their third full-length release, due out in 2017.
